In this screen you may link or unlink clients and servers and assign - or delete - a ring name to one or more clients.
This screen also allows you to assign a ring name to one or more clients or to one or more client-server relations.To do this you indicate which clients and/or client-server relations require a ring name, enter the name, and click the "Change ring name" button. Should an existing client or client-server relation already have a ring name, then this ring name will be overwritten with the new ring name. In a similar way you can remove a ringname from clients or client-server-relations by emptying the ringname and click the "Delete ring name" button. When a WDM connection is within a protection(ring), sub connections are also removed.
The following actions may be taken in this screen:

Through one of the yellow input field you may search for either a (part of the) client name, server name or ring name. |

This button allows you to filter on part of the name. |
|
By ticking the box in front of a client or server you indicate that that particular client or server needs to be linked. |
|
Servers for the selected object are displayed. |
|
Checking the field at the servers you can display the total capacity and the free capacity for each server. |
|
Clients for the selected object are displayed. |
|
Clear all ticked boxes. |

When you have indicated the clients and servers that need to be linked you click this button after which the links will be established. Subsequently, you will be notified about how many links have really been established and how many have potentially not been established, for instance because the link existed already. Should it appear during the linking process that that link on a server will lead to exceeding the capacity available, all established links will be canceled and the user will be notified of this. |

You may also delete links.You do this by indicating which links of clients and servers need to be deleted and clicking this button.After selecting detach you will be informed about the number of unlinks performed. |
