start screen

This is Cocon's start screen. From this screen pressing "Start" is sufficient to activate Cocon for use.

During Cocon's implementation the settings will have been entered whether a user needs to log in or whether the log-in data of the network are being used.

If the log-in data of the network are used it is not necessary to enter a username or a password. Cocon uses the username with which you are logged-in to the network. If you need to log in separately you will be asked for a username and a password.

If you are not authorized to use Cocon you will be notified of this after clicking "Start". If you think you do have the right to use Cocon you need to contact the application manager.

By clicking the "Support" button you may find out who to contact.

When starting up a check is performed whether the correct software has been installed on your PC for the approach to the database. If this is not the case you will be notified and you need to get in touch with the application controller.

It may happen dat you receive the notification that Cocon is already active on your machine. This means you have started up Cocon once already.

Cocon cannot be started up more than once on the same machine. If you still don't see an active version of Cocon, please contact your application controller.

As soon as Cocon has been started up a welcome message is displayed. You may switch this message off through the "Options" screen in the "Extra"menu.
