This functions starts IMS if this is installed on your system. The advantage of this is that you now don't have to log in at IMS. If you start up IMS outside of Cocon, you do need to log in into IMS.
IMS (Inventory Management System) is a product supplied by Speer IT and allowing you to register and maintain telecom networks in a quick and user-friendly fashion.
