Confirm/cancel project

This function ensures that all objects marked for deletion or creation will actually be deleted respectively created. This only concerns the objects associated with the cable work.

When creating an object in the geographical screen the status of this object is set to 0 ("planned"). As soon as a project is confirmed the status of the object is set to 1 ("In use").

If an object in the geographical screen is selected for removal it receives status 2 ("Selected for removal"). As soon as a project is confirmed the object will be actually removed.

It is also possible to cancel the creation or deletion of these objects. The selected objects (status 0) are removed. Status 2 ("Selected for removal") objects are returned to status 1 ("In use").

The function is called up from the "Enter/change/delete cable work" screen.

The screen consists of a number of tabs indicating for each type of object which objects will be removed and which objects will be created.

All objects will be processed in a standard fashion. You do, however, have the opportunity not to process one or more objects. You do this by clicking the object. The symbol in front of the name disappears.

With the "Select all" button you may indicate that all objects need to be processed. With the "Select none" you indicate that no object needs to be processed.

It is possible to sort the grids (lists). By clicking the header of the desired column the contents of the grid will be sorted.

If you wish to commence processing click the OK button. When the processing has finished the last tab displays the processing report. This shows the results of the processing. Should any errors have occurred in the processing the report will display these. You may open the report in your internet browser by clicking the clip0383 button.

From the processing report you are able to browse through previous processing reports using the "Previous processing report" and "Next processing report" buttons.
