This screen provides an insight in the theoretical attenuation of a connection.The attenuation of a connection is determined by the associated fibers, splices, and patches. A certain attenuation applies to each part. Together they determine the total attenuation for a connection.
This screen is for the most part the same as the "Connection report" screen.
In the upper right-hand corner of the screen you'll find a number of data regarding the lengths per type of fiber and the total attenuation.In the grid you'll find for each cable the length, the total distance from the starting-point of the connection, the fiber type, the attenuation, and the total attenuation from the starting-point..
By clicking the "Notes" button the "Maintaining attenuation and length factors" screen is opened in which the various factors influencing the attenuation are displayed. Depending on authorization these factors may be changed by the user.
