This screen provides an insight in the layout of a connection. It is called up from various other functions using the button.
A number of data of the connection and of the fibers in the connection will be displayed.
The following actions may be taken from this screen:
Export data to Word-format. |

Export data to Excel-format. |
|
Export data to HTML-format. |
|
View the fibers in the connection from the other location. |
|
View all fibers in the selected cable through the "Occupation report cable". |
|
Shows a report on usage by customers of these cables. |
|
Presents a report on the complete connection for the selected cables. |
|
Presents a report on the complete connection for the future for the selected cables. |
|
Display the selection in the geographical screen. All spans from the report will be selected in the geographical screen. |
|
Go to the "Insert patch information" screen where you may maintain the patches for the current frame. |
|
Displays the fiber occupation. |
|
Present section name in IMS |
|
Switch the colours in the grid on or off. |
|
Display the colours used in Cocon. |
|
Go to the Enter/change patch panel screen where the frame will be displayed. |
|
Go to the splice shelf data of the enclosure. If you wish to go to the enclosure as mentioned in the column "Locationname B" you first need to select this column. You may only execute this if you are also authorized for this function. |

Add the connection to the project folder |

Should a cable work be linked to a selected line, the cable work is displayed. If at least one cable is associated with a cable work this will be indicated on the screen with the |

Close this screen. |

Click here to show the connection on the other side of the patch. This is only possible when the patch is known. The colour of the button indicates what the status of the patch is. |

Report on cable usage |
View all fibers of the selected cable in the cable usage report. |
View cable in geography |
Open the geography and highlight the cable |
View point in geography |
Open the geography and highlight the location |
Change fiberstatus |
Change the status of the fiber(s) |
Re-route connection |
Checks for defects or failures on the connection. |
Turn color on/ off |
Switch the colors in the report on or off. |
Report on meaning of colors |
Display the colours used in Cocon. |
Copy |
Copy the data to the clipboard |
Double-click in the grid |
View all fibers in the selected cable through the "Occupation report cable". |
Key C |
Presents a report on the complete connection for the selected cables. |
Key K |
Should a cable work be linked to a selected line, the cable work is displayed. |
Key O |
Displays the selected cable in the geographical screen. |
Key P |
Displays the location in the geographical screen. For this you need to indicate the correct location (A or B) first. |
Within the grid certain elements are indicated by colours and symbols:
Text in the line is printed in red and in bold |
Status of the cable is higher than 2, i.e. the cable is not selected, in use, or selected for removal. |
Text in this line on a light orange background. |
The cable is associated with a cable work whereby the starting date and end date of the cable work have been entered. |
Fiber status column is red |
Status of the cable is 0, selected. |
Fiber status column is green |
Status of the cable is 1, in use |
Fiber status column is yellow |
Status of the cable is 2, selected for removal. |
Column Locationname A or B has a gray background and text is printed in bold |
The frame is located on this line. |
Column Locationname A or B is yellow |
Associated splice or patch is selected for removal |
Column Locationname A or B is red |
Associated splice or patch is selected for creation |
Symbol |
Indicates that a patch is present on this location |
Symbol |
Indicates that a splice on the rass is present on this location |

Indicates that a termination is present on this location but that it is not known what type of termination it is. |
