You may create new patches or change or delete existing patches.
This function can be activated from the main menu "Register" as well as from the following screens: "Connection Report", "Fiber Usage", "Complete Connection" and "Enter Patch Information", with the header .
The following actions may be taken in this screen:
Through the yellow input field you may search for a (part of the) location name. |

Search for the frames at the location name entered.

The Search button in the section on frames searches for the frame name and/or frame number entered. In both cases you may enter part of the location name or the frame name. You can search for the right and the left frame. The left frame is the one from where patches are made. The right frame is the one on which frames are made. Both grids display fibers that not have been patched yet or that can be changed. |

These buttons allow you to browse the frames. |
A report of all changes is displayed that occurred on the patches in this frame is displayed. |

Go to the function "Enter/change patch panel" of the selected frames. |
|
Display the fiber usage of the selected frame. |
|
Display the frame occupation of the selected frame. |
|
Show a report for the connection of the fiber in the selected line, with the possibility to change the data. |
|
Report on the connection of the fiber in the selected line. |
|
Present a report on the complete connection for the selected fiber in the grid. |
|
Present a report on the complete connection for the future of the selected fiber in the grid. |
Set the planned date on tomorrow's date. |
|
The amount of set patches planned / reserved for removal. |
|
With this button you generate a patch. After having selected the left and right frame you assign the two fibers which are to be patched. Then you enter who made the patch, what status the patch is assigned and the project the patch is related to. Then press the button "Make a patch"; you will be asked to confirm this step. There is a check on whether the patch can be made, upon which the patch will be assigned in the database. |

With this button you remove a patch. After having selected the left and right frame, you click the button "Change". Now, in the left grid you select the fiber which has been used for making the patch. In the right grid the fiber is displayed that has been patched. Click on the button "Delete a patch"; the patch is deleted. Return to the status where patches are entered by clicking the button "Enter". |

If you want to change a patch while returning to the screen for generating new patches, you press this button. |

With this button you change a patch. After having selected the left and right frame, in the left grid you select the fiber from where the patch has been made. In the right grid the fiber is displayed that has been patched. Now you can change certain patch data, upon which you save the changes by pressing the OK button. Return to the status where patches are entered by clicking the button "Enter". |

When a particular fiber is not displayed in the grid may be that it still needs to be made or may have just made. It may also be that in the "Terminated fibers" screen a port equipment is insert. |
