This function gives an insight on the usage of a cable.
This screen is called up from the "Report cable usage", "Report on connections", "Insert rass splices", "Change/enter splice shelf unit", "Enter patch information" and "Enter splices" screen with the button.
This function may be called up from the geographical screen by clicking from the list of objects with the right mouse-button on a cable and to choose Details.
This screen also displays the future sectionnames.If a current and future fiber is in use both sectionnames are displayed.
The following actions may be taken from this screen:
Current overview of all connections of the selected cable. Without finch: A comprehensive overview of locations throughout the complete connection and termination details. With finch: Simple overview without termination details |

Displays a report of the endpoints of the individual fibers on the left location. |

Displays a report of the endpoints of the individual fibers on the right location. |

Creates an extensive connection report in Excel. All fibers of the selected cable will be displayed next to one another. The columns in bold indicate the selected cable. This report may also be called up from the geographical screen by choosing "Generate connection report" at a cable using the right mouse-button. |

Should a cable work be linked to a selected line, the cable work is displayed. If at least one fiber is associated with a cable work this will be indicated on the screen with the |

Displays a report on the connection of the fiber in the selected line with the option of making changes. |

Export data to Word-format. |

Export data to HTML-format. |

Displays the selection in the geography. |

Note: customer specific, may not be available. The button determens the future usage of the fibers. If the future status is in use, the column #Prio and contractor turn orange. The will turn green is the fibers are currently in use. If the column #Prio turns red there are customers with a prio 10 on the casette. The column shows the number of connections related. |

Create cable pack |
Based on the selected fiber(s) you can generate an cable package. It's possible to select one or more fibers with the same section name. Click on the right mouse button after your selection. Select ' make cable pack'. After you confirm this option, your cable package can be saved in different formats. |

Within the grid certain elements are indicated by colors and symbols:
Text in the line is printed in red and in bold |
The status of the fiber is higher than 2, i.e. the cable is not selected, in use, or selected for removal. |
Text in this line on a light orange background |
The fiber is associated with a cable work whereby the starting date and end date of the cable work have been entered. |
Background column Fiber status is red |
The status of the fiber equals 0 (selected). |
Background column Fiber status is green |
The status of the fiber equals 1 (in use). |
Background column Fiber status is yellow |
The status of the fiber equals 2 (selected for removal). |
Background column Section name is red |
The status reservation equals 0, 7, or 8 (selected, bid reservation, order reservation). |
Background column Section name is yellow |
The status reservation equals 2 (selected for removal). |
Background column Fut. section name is red |
The status reservation equals 0, 7, or 8 (selected, bid reservation, order reservation). |
Background column Extreme location A or B is light green |
The cable directly ends at this location without any splices along the way. |

The cable that ends at this location has been spliced along the way. |

The location in column Future end point 1 is different from the one in column Farthest location A. |

The location in column Future end point 2 is different from the one in column Farthest location B. |
