Through this function you may link one or more fibers to a ring or unlink them from a ring.
By pull-down menu's you may select, link/delink the objects.

You enter the ring name to which the fibers need to be linked. You can make a selection of fibers by entering a location, a duct, a cable, or a combination of those three. Apart from that you indicate which fiberseries (low, high) you want to link. After this you click the "Link to ring" button and the number of fibers that will be linked is counted. If you agree with this number click "Yes" and the fibers will be linked to the selected ring. It is possible that no fibers are found. This can occur because no fibers comply with the selection or because these fibers already have been linked to the ring.

You may make a selection of fibers by indicating a ring. All fibers linked to this ring will be unlinked. You may also enter a location, a duct, a cable, or a combination of these 3. combined with an indication of the fiberseries (low, high). If you click the "Detach from ring" button the number of fibers that will be detached will be counted. If you agree with this number click "Yes" and the fibers will be actually detached from ring.
