Through this function you may change the data of a cable.
This function is called up from the geographical screen by clicking from the list of objects with the right mouse-button on a cable and to choose Change.
This function is also called up from the Report cable usage screen by clicking the button.
The following data may be changed: Project number, Install date, Install company, Cablename, Cable type, Category, Detail status, Owner, Costs, Depreciation and Reel number.
If there is external ownership, the supplier may be entered. As soon as you enter a supplier you may also enter the Contract end date, the fiber length (according to supplier's data), and the attenuation at 1310 and 1550 nm (according to supplier's data).These data will be included in the determination of the attenuation for a cable. This type of cables is colored orange in the geography.
The following columns may be changed in the grid: Objectname, ObjectID, Type object, Length in, Length out and Total length. These columns are characterized by a light orange background.
If on this enclosure or frame there are still splices or terminations present with this span, the fields Objectname, ObjectID, and Type object may not be changed.
It is possible to change the location of a slack. When you click on the slack in the grid you can choose between different locations.
Cocon will search for locations within 15 meters, up to 4 accespoints and 4 buildings, sorted by distance and then by name.

Close the window "Insert/ change tube positions". |
Process external supplier data |
Save changes made by external supplier. |

Length in, length out and Total length will be reset to 0. |
